Indulgence is the key to Oceania Cruises’ enhancements to its already impressive onboard culinary experiences. You’ll be treated to thoughtfully-crafted dining while on any of its six ships. Inspirational creations come from Oceania Cruises® master chefs who have been selected from the world’s top restaurants. Every meal begins with premium artisanal ingredients from around the world placed in recipes that use age-old culinary techniques and traditions. A host of new onboard dining features includes such decadence as the Soufflé of the Day in The Grand Dining Room with other enhancements that add to a memorable voyage.
Dining wherever and whenever guests want is part of Oceania Cruises’ curated culinary program, with all restaurants complimentary and featuring open seating. The new revitalized in-room dining menu invites you to enjoy a meal or snack 24 hours a day in your comfortable suite or stateroom at no additional cost. Start your day with a full hot breakfast of eggs prepared the way you choose, plus avocado toast, pancakes or French toast and more. Among the new appetizers are Plant-Based California Rolls, an Antipasti Plate, Shrimp Cocktail and new soups and salads that include Grilled Salmon Salad and Miso Ramen Soup. An Alaskan Salmon Burger and an Impossible Burger are part of the new burger menu. Petite Beef Filet, Thai Coconut Red Curry, a Hawaiian Poke Bowl, and a Mezze Platter are some of the new entrées. And when it’s time for decadent desert in bed, Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, “Pure Energy” Smoothies, or a Chocolate Mousse Cake might be the perfect sweet.
Oceania Cruises has added to its existing extraordinary wine menu with a new wine tasting program. Sommeliers lead interactive tasting sessions through the world’s best wine regions. While learning about tasting notes, terroir, and more, you can dine on complementing canapés. Sessions include Top California Cabs, Mediterranean Jewels, Stars of the Southern Hemisphere, Forever French, and 360 Degrees of Reds. The Red Challenge compares wine regions, such as Napa versus Bordeaux. In addition, specially-chosen local wines, spirits, and tapas from ports of call are now being offered during evening wine bar service in La Reserve or Baristas aboard Marina and Riviera on select evenings as part of the destination immersion of Oceania Cruises.
The private dining room Privée aboard Marina and Riviera has four new culinary experiences for a total of five for guests seeking truly exclusive private dining. Privée can be reserved for a single party of up to 10 guests per evening. Among the experiences are a Wine Pairing Menu, Best of Oceania Cruises Menu, and the Best of Polo & Toscana Menu. The new Degustation Menu can include such delights as Soufflé au Fromage (Cheese Soufflé), Risotto de Homard (Lobster Risotto), and Bar en Croûte et Sauce Beurre Blanc (Sea Bass Filet Baked in Puff Pastry Crust with Beurre Blanc). Choose the Executive Chef’s Menu for such curated gourmet dishes from the onboard culinary team as Servuga Caviar, Vodka-Lime Cream Maine Lobster Ravioli, Parmesan Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Glazed Butternut Squash, and ending with Chocolate Cecile, Petits Fours and Macaroons.
